September: Obi Wan
A young brash Padawan or jedi apprentice assigned to learn from Qui-Gonn Jinn, a wise jedi master. Obi-Wan never knew the pivotal role of a negotiation mission with the Trade Federation will be the starting point of his destiny.
After the Trade Federation cut violently the negotiations with the two jedi. Obi-Wan and his master ran off to the small planet of Naboo trying to alert and protect the young queen Amidala. The queen, a few guards lead by their captain, a couple of handmaidens, pilots and the two jedi, barely escaped the blockade. When the ship was hit and the hyperdrive was damaged, a landing on the small and distant planet of Tatooine was made. Obi-Wan has also been known for being an skillfull mechanic so he diligently took upon the repairs of the ship.
There Qui-Gonn met an interesting young boy named Anakin Skywalker, after several incidents, Kenobi and Anakin were introduced. When the ship was repaired the group flew to Coruscant trying to get the attention to the queen's case by the Senate. Also the jedi council met and after discussing the posible return of the dark side warriors known as Sith, Anakin was introduced to the council, Qui-Gon let everybody in the council to know that Obi-Wan was ready to face the trials and young Anakin will be trained as a jedi.
The council refused the training of Anakin due to the important mission the two jedi had. They had to protect the queen at all costs.
The queen decided to return to Naboo, after the intervention of the Senate was useless. The group returned trying to regain control of the planet, there with the helps of the Gungans, they fought for the liberation of the planet.
The two jedi, encountered a formidable foe on a Sith apprentice named Darth Maul, the group battle fiercely but Qui-Gonn was struck down by the Sith apprentice, Obi-Wan, however, managed to kill Darth Maul. Before Qui-Gonn died he made Kenobi promised that he will train young Anakin as a Jedi.
After the liberation of Naboo and with the Trade Federation defeated, the jedi council visited Naboo, there Obi-Wan and Yoda discussed the future of the young Skywalker, with much regret Yoda decided to let Obi-Wan train the boy.
In front of the funeral pyre of his former master, Obi-Wan promised to the young boy that he would be a jedi, without knowing the clouded future and the uncertain fate of this task.
